The American market is dominated by corn syrup, making it difficult for maple syrup to break through. To change habits, Maple from Canada needed to make a bold move with an unexpected and engaging approach—on a limited budget.

With Maple Mate, Maple from Canada invited American singles to go on a brunch date with a Canadian. Because if they fall in love with a Canadian, they’ll also fall in love with real maple syrup. The brunch was reimbursed upon submission of the receipt.
